The 4 coresearchers were preselected based on their participation in Native American public forums that pertained to the topic of Native North American displacement. Data included are dreamwork, insights gained through spiritual practice, and interactive storytelling between the researcher and 4 coresearchers. ![]() The primary research question was: How do contemporary Native American women address and/or heal the impact of displacement in their lives? The study utilized organic inquiry, a transpersonal and feminist research modality that emphasizes the transformative potential of research for all involved- the researcher, coresearchers, and the readers. This organic inquiry Master's thesis sought the voices of 5 contemporary Native American women. ![]() Many continue to experience the aftermath of displacement in a wide variety of forms. Native North Americans were long ago displaced from ancestral lands. ![]()
